Bio:

Hassan has a strong background in working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, having supported international students in his role with the ANU Students’ Association (PARSA & ANUSA) and the Council of International Students on a range of issues. His previous professional experiences have been in the field of banking and project management.

After being active in student advocacy at the university and national level, Hassan pursued his passion by advising current students on academic, financial, accommodation, mental health, and disciplinary issues.

His current role also allows him to take initiatives and develop support programs for university students, which requires active internal and external stakeholder management, effective communication and professional project management skills. Hassan is the current Treasurer of the Molonglo Community Council and was recently a Board Director with ACTCOSS.
