You too, could be part of our dynamic team of passionate educators, creating an innovative, child-led play based program for children, families and educators. Forrest Out Of School Hours Care is a Not-for Profit service proudly operated by our community of Parents & Citizens meeting the needs of our diverse community. We pride ourselves on our connection with the local community and our commitment to embracing diversity, both within our curriculum and our team. We are a large service (150 places)  offering  Before, After and School Holiday program out of Forrest Primary School and are generally open 50 weeks per year. POSITION – Casual  minimum of two shifts per week

Hours negotiable  minimum of two shifts per week Monday to Friday  7:30 am to 9:30pm or   2.30pm-6.30pm,

Position Responsibilities 

To work as part of fooshc  team that facilitates experiences and supports children’s engagement in a program that, at all times of the year, involves risk taking, experimentation and exploration of both indoor and outdoor environments.

Ensure relevant risk management strategies are used in daily operations.

Comply with the requirements of the National Quality Framework and the school age care framework – My Time Our Place.

Work as part of the programming/planning team that assists educators implement and evaluate a high quality and diverse educational program with the collaboration of children.

Comply with all service policy and procedures.

Contribute to development of, and implement, the quality improvement plan and philosophy of the service.

Actively participate in both internal and external Professional Development throughout the year as identified during the annual employee appraisal
